Introducing Kolton Allen ~ Infant Photographer

Kolton was only 12 days new when I shot these photos!  He is a very content baby but only slept for short periods while I was there and quickly woke during picture time.   Both Kolton and his big brother Carson are absolutely adorable. 

This was my first infant session and I learned a lot.  I look forward to my next!

Jade's first Fall ~ Family Photographer

Jade is one of our friends from music class and playgroup.  We met Jade when she was just five weeks old.  She is the cutest peanut with perfect cheeks and bright eyes.

I met Jade and her parents at the park on a beautiful Sunday...the trees were all sorts of amazing colors.  Jade especially loved the leaves and kept a fistfull of leaves in her hands throughout the session!

Ella heart Daisy ~ Child Photographer

My son, Greyson, and I are part of a wonderful playgroup.  Ella is one of our playgroup friends and she turned one this month.  Ella is pure happiness and is always smiling!

One of Ella's best friends is her dog Daisy and they are super cute together...especially because Daisy is a bulldog and twice Ella's size.

It was such a pleasure to photograph Ella.  It was bright and early in the morning and Ella was an absolute delight!

Boys will be boys ~ Child Photographer

My cousin (and best friend) asked me to photograph her two sons for their, four and seven year photos.  We took the boys to the park and we had beautiful weather and scenery.  The oldest was the perfect model and the youngest, well...he was a typical four year old. 

It was a blast and I loved spending time with them!

Mine on Monday ~ Life Photographer!

Here it is...my first blog post!  


I decided it was finally time for me to show off and showcase my new love...photography.  

I am starting with my favorite photo from this summer.  
This is a "slice of life" photo and it includes my two favorite guys.  If you know my husband, reading the newspaper (usually it is the online paper) is a daily ritual...so it was poignant for me to capture this moment! 

Over the last month I have had the opportunity to photograph friends and family.  In the next weeks I will post my favorite photos from those sessions.
